★ Deen-e-lbraliimi mein Quraish ki Bid’aat

Yeh the ahl-e-jaahiliyat ke aqaaid wa aamaal, us ke saath hi un ke andar deen-e-Ibrahimi ki kuchh baaqiyaat bhi the. Yaani unhon ne yeh deen poore taur par nahin chhora tha. Chunaaanche woh Baitullah ki tazeem aur us ka Tawaaf karte the. Hajj wa Umrah karte the, Arafaat wa Muzdalifa mein theharte the aur Hadi ke jaanwaron ki qurbaani karte the. Albatta unhon ne is Deen-e-Ibrahimi mein bahut si bid’atein eijaad kar ke shaamil kar di thin. Masalan: Quraish ki ek bid'at yeh thi ke woh kehte the ham Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s.) ki aulaad hain, Haram ke paasbaan, Baitullah ke waali aur Makkah ke baashinde hain. Koi shakhs hamaaraa ham martaba nahin aur na kisi ke huqooq hamaare huqooq ke masaawi hain - aur isi binaa par apna naam Hums (bahaadur aur garam josh) rakhte the - lihaazaa hamaare shaayaan-e-shaan nahin ke ham hudood-e-Haram se baahar jaaein.

★ये अज्ञानियो के विश्वास और काम . इसके साथ ही इनके अंदर दीने इब्राहीमी की कुछ बची खुची चीजे भी थी अर्थात उन्होंने यह दीन पूरे तौर पर नही छोड़ा था , चुनांचे वे बैतुल्लाह का आदर और उसकी परिक्रमा करते थे , हज व उमरा करते थे, अरफ़ात व मुज़दलफा में ठहरते थे और हदयि के जानवर की कुर्बानी करते थे , अलबत्ता उन्होंने इस दीने इब्राहीमी में बहुत सी नयी बाते गढ़कर शामिल करदी. क़ुरैश की एक नई बात यह थी की वे कहते थे की हम हज़रत इब्राहीम अलैहिस्सलाम की संतान हैं, हरम की देखभाल करने वाले , बैतुल्लाह के निगराँ और मक्का के रहने वाले , कोई व्यकि हमारे पद के बराबरी का नही और ना किसी के अधिकार हमारे अधिकार जितने हैं और इसी कारण ये अपना नाम हुम्स (वीर और गर्मजोश) रखते थे . इसलिए हमारे लिए उचित नही की हम हरम की सीमाओ के बाहर जाएं.

★People of pre-Islamic period, whilst believing in superstition, they still retained some of the Abrahamic traditions such as devotion to the Holy Sanctuary, circumambulation, observance of pilgrimage, the vigil on ‘Arafah and offering sacrifices, all of these were observed fully despite some innovations that
adulterated these holy rituals. Quraish, for example, out of arrogance, feeling of superiority to other tribes and pride in their custodianship of the Sacred House, would refrain from going to ‘Arafah with the crowd, instead they would stop short at Muzdalifah.
