★3) स्वाभिमान - स्वाभिमान पर स्थिर और ज़ुल्म और जब्र सहन न करना भी अज्ञानता के जाने-पहचाने चरित्र में से था । इसका नतीजा ये था कि उनकी वीरता और स्वाभिमान सीमा से बढ़ा हुआ था । वे तुरन्त भड़क उठते थे और छोटी छोटी बात पर , जिस से अपमान की गंध आती,तलवारें खिंच लेते और बड़ी ही खूनी लड़ाई छेड़ देते । उन्हें इस राह में अपनी जान की कदापि परवाह न रहती
4) जो कह देते वो कर बैठते- अज्ञानियों की विशेषता यह थी कि जब वे किसी काम को अपनी बड़ाई का जरिया समझकर अंजाम देने पर तुल जाते , तो फिर कोई रुकावट उन्हें रोक ना सकती थी, वे अपनी जान पर खेल कर उस काम को अंजाम दे डालते थे

4) जो कह देते वो कर बैठते- अज्ञानियों की विशेषता यह थी कि जब वे किसी काम को अपनी बड़ाई का जरिया समझकर अंजाम देने पर तुल जाते , तो फिर कोई रुकावट उन्हें रोक ना सकती थी, वे अपनी जान पर खेल कर उस काम को अंजाम दे डालते थे

★Keeping a covenant: For the Arab, to make a promise was to run into debt. He would never grudge the death of his children or destruction of his household just to uphold the deep-rooted
tradition of covenant-keeping. The literature of that period is rich in stories highlighting this
merit.
Sense of honour and repudiation of injustice : This attribute stemmed mainly from excess courage, keen sense of self-esteem and impetuosity. The Arab was always in revolt against the least allusion to humiliation or slackness. He would never hesitate to sacrifice himself to maintain his ever alert sense of self-respect.
Firm will and determination: An Arab would never desist an avenue conducive to an object of pride or a standing of honour, even if it were at the expense of his life.
