★Is liye munaasib malum hota hai Hashim aur unke baad ke ba'z afraad ke mukhtasar halat pesh kar diye jaye.
1. Hashim: Ham bata chuke hai ke jab banu 'Abd-e-Manaf aur Banu Abd-e-Dar ke darmiyaan ohdon ki taqseem par musaalahat ho gai to 'Abd Manaf ki aulaad mein Hashim hi ko Siqaaya aur Rifaadah yaani Hujjaj-e-kiram ko paani pilaane aur on ki mezbaani karne ka mansab haasil huaa. Hashim bade muaziz aur maldaar the. Yeh pehle shakhs hain jinhone Makke mein Hajion ko shorba roti saan kar khilaane ka ehtimaam kiya in ka asal naam 'Amr tha lekin roti tod kar shorbe mein saanne ki wajah se un ko Hashim kaha Jane laga kyuki Hashim ke ma'ne hai todne wala.

★इसलिए मुनासिब मालूम होता है कि हाशिम और उसके बाद के कुछ लोगो के संछिप्त हालात पेश किये जाए
1) हाशिम - हम बता चुके है कि जब बनु अब्दे मुनाफ और बनु अब्दुद्दार के बीच पदों के बंटवारे पर समझौता हो गया तो अब्दे मुनाफ की संतान में हाशिम ही को सिकाया और रिफाया यानी हाजियों को पानी पिलाने और उनका सत्कार करने का पद प्राप्त हुआ । हाशिम बड़े प्रतिष्टित और मालदार व्यक्ति थे , यह पहले व्यक्ति है जिन्होंने मक्के में हाजियों को शोरबा रोटी सान कर खिलाने का प्रबंध किया । उनका असल नाम अम्र था , लेकिन रोटी तोड़कर शोरबे में सानने की वजह से उनको हाशिम कहा जाने लगा क्योंकि हाशिम का अर्थ है तोड़ने वाला

1. Hashim: As we have previously mentioned, he was the one responsible for giving food and water to the pilgrims. This had been his charge when the sons of ‘Abd Munaf and those of ‘Abd Ad-Dar compromised on dividing the charges between them. Hashim was wealthy and honest. He was the first to offer the pilgrims sopped bread in broth. His first name was ‘Amr but he was called Hashim because he had been in the practice of crumbling bread (for the pilgrims).
